Buy Sunglasses By Size

The frame size refers to the horizontal width of the frame, measured between the center of the left and the right hinge. Our frames come in one or multiple sizes. See the range in the chart below:

To find your correct frame size, use a ruler to measure the hinge-to-hinge distance of a pair of glassesthat you already own and that fits you well. Consider the tolerance range of +/- 4mm.

Step 1: Look in a mirror and hold a ruler horizontally across your face. Measure in inches the distance between your left and right temples.Step 2: Then use the chart below to convert your measurement to the best frame size to fit your face.

You may also use a pair of sunglasses you currently own to determine your best size. Frame sizing is typically noted on the inside of either temple (see illustration below). The eye/lens size is usually first, then the bridge size, then temple size. Use the eye/lens size to determine the best frame size.

The eye size is typically going to be the most important size for identifying how a pair of sunglasses will look. The eye size number measures the width of the lens, measured from the bridge, in millimeters. The bridge width is the distance between the lenses in millimeters. And the third number is the length of the temple in millimeters.

Eyeglass frame sizes are indicated by three numbers stamped on the inside of your eyeglasses. These numbers usually appear on the inner surface of one of the frame temples that hold your glasses in place behind your ears.

In addition to the eye size, bridge size and temple length, you may see other numbers (or letters and names) stamped on the inside of the frame. These usually are the frame model and/or the color of the frame.

Note: I used the Warby Parker home try-on program to test out a bunch of different sunglasses for this post (15 pairs, to be specific). This is a great free way to try on lots of different styles and sizes, in order to figure out what works for you.

This chart which will help you determine your head size by either your helmet or hat size. Your head size will correlate with the helmet size or hat size you wear. So, if you wear a Small helmet or have a 6 3/4 head size, you should select motorcycle sunglasses that fit small heads . For easy shopping, all of our glasses are classified to fit a certain head size.

Also, when you begin clicking on sunglass styles, there will be a picture of a mannequin (which is equivalent in size to a Medium size head) wearing that style. Use this picture as a reference to give you a good idea how the sunglasses may fit on your face. There will also be customer pictures wearing the glasses you chose which are also a great help.

This horizontal chart gives a better comparison view of the the different head sizes. XS is generally a teenage or a very petite person. XL-XXL is usually a larger person. Refer to the hat sizes also above as a reference.

Once you determine your head size, you are ready to shop for motorcycle sunglasses that fit by size. The only item left you to decide is which biker glasses brand you want to go with. BikerArmour, WileyX or 7eye.

You probably did not know that the size of a credit card in height is approximately the same as the width of a medium size glasses lenses! Below are instructions on how to find your glasses size by using credit card as measuring device. 59ce067264
