Plot
The film revolves around two friends, Raj (Akshay Kumar) and Kajal (Lara Dutta), who fall in love with each other but are separated by fate. Raj meets with an accident and loses his ability to walk. He moves to Cape Town, where he meets Jiya (Priyanka Chopra), a rich girl who falls in love with him. Raj agrees to marry Jiya under his family's pressure, but is shocked to discover that Jiya's sister-in-law is Kajal, who is now a widow. Kajal had married Karan (Aman Verma), a pilot who died in a plane crash. Raj realizes that he still loves Kajal and decides to help her overcome her grief. However, he faces opposition from Jiya, who is jealous of his bond with Kajal.
